SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS

Boiler Operators (SmartCEM-60 or SmartCEM-75)

• Deliver a CEMS data acquisition and/or reporting system or PEMS in 60 days or less. Guaranteed certification per 40 CFR Part 60 performance specification 16 (draft).
• Replace potential and existing CEMS components with PEMS through Subpart E (for certain qualifying low-emitters).
• Obtain a payback on investment in less than 6 operating months through implementation (typical for average boiler with capacity > 100 klbs per hour fired with natural gas at current wholesale pricing). 

Industrial Internal Combustion Engine Operators (SmartCEM-60 or SmartCEM-75)

• Deliver a CEMS data acquisition and/or reporting system or PEMS in 60 days or less. Guaranteed certification per 40 CFR Part 60, Part 75, or Subpart E.
• Provide backup or primary reporting with PEMS.
• Obtain a payback on investment in less than 12 operating months through PEMS implementation (typical for average internal combustion engine of moderate size per hour fired with diesel fuel oil at current wholesale pricing).

Ethanol Plant Operators (SmartCEM-60)

• Deliver a CEMS data acquisition and/or reporting system or PEMS in 60 days or less. Guaranteed certification per 40 CFR Part 60.
• Provide backup or primary reporting with PEMS.
• Obtain a payback on investment in less than 12 operating months through PEMS implementation (typical for average ethanol reformer per hour fired with natural gas at current wholesale pricing).

Sewage Sludge Incinerator Operators (SmartCEM-503)

• Deliver a CEMS data acquisition and/or reporting system in 30 days or less. Guaranteed certification per 40 CFR Part 503.
• Obtain a payback on investment in less than 12 months through optimization system (typical for average multiple hearth incinerator with capacity > 6 tons per hour wet sludge fired with natural gas at current wholesale pricing).
